2005-2006: Blackwater USA Training Center Consultant for training program development and delivery at one of the nations’ premier firearms training centers.
2004-2005: High Desert Special Operations Training Center I was the first Training Center Director and Program Manager for a national training center involved in preparing civilian and military personnel preparing to deploy into the war zones of the middle east.
1998-2004: U.S. Central Intelligence Agency Served as an Independent Contractor in the Special Activities Directorate, and in this capacity I provided both operational and training support to the agency. I was a primary firearms instructor at two training activities certifying employees prior to deployment.
1996-1998: Bechtel Nevada, Nevada Test Site Senior Product Support Manager for the development of training programs in the field of Weapons of Mass Destruction Counter Terrorism and Domestic Preparedness. In this capacity I served as training program developer and principal instructor for a number of classified weapons programs.
1995-Present: Viking Consulting, LLC Provides training program development and delivery worldwide to a variety of clients both government and private. I have been involved in the development and delivery of classified training programs in 42 nations.
1992-1995: Seminar Director, Regional Studies Program Developed and delivered a graduate seminar in Latin American Regional Studies to military officers preparing for duties at U.S. Embassies abroad.
1984-1995: U.S. Army Special Forces Officer Served in a variety of positions both in Command and as a Staff Officer to Special Forces units.
1981-1985: Infantry, Fast Attack and Airborne Ranger Platoon Leader Served as the Platoon Leader for each of these very specific Infantry platoons. In this capacity I was also the primary instructor for SERE, Air Assault, Pathfinder, Fast Attack and Mk19 Automatic Grenade Launcher.
1978-1981: Special Forces Light Weapons Sergeant Served as the Light Weapons expert on a Green Beret A Team. In this position it was my duty to prepare and deliver all light weapons training to both U.S. and Foreign Special Forces units.
1971-1978: U.S. Navy Petty Officer, Special Warfare Petty Officer (QM1-9533) In this position I served as primary light weapons, Riverine Warfare, Navigation and Small Craft Tactics instructor.
