1 Year Ago – Woman Shoots At Assailant in Billings

One year ago this month our state witnessed first hand the importance of the 2nd amendment and the right to carry a firearm for self-defense and personal protection.

In Billings MT a 39-year old woman was attacked by a man when she walked outside her home to retrieve something from her car. When the assailant attacked from behind he knocked her down to the ground. Not fully deterred the woman drew her firearm from her purse and fired two shots toward the attacker.

This caused him to flee leaving the woman safe. How would this story have been different if the firearm had not been involved?
